Region XXIV Continues National Push in Latest NJCAA Rankings

Region XXIV maintained a strong national footprint this week as multiple men’s and women’s basketball programs earned recognition in the latest NJCAA polls.

Men’s Basketball

Vincennes remained firmly in the national picture, checking in at No. 2 in Division I men’s basketball and continuing to set the standard for the region.

In Division II men’s basketball, Parkland held steady at No. 5, while Danville Area climbed to No. 16 and Illinois Central followed at No. 20, keeping three Region XXIV programs ranked inside the Top 20.

Women’s Basketball

Southwestern Illinois moved up to No. 21 in Division I women’s basketball, continuing its upward momentum in the national rankings.

Division II women’s basketball once again featured heavy Region XXIV representation. Illinois Central led the way at No. 2, followed by Lincoln Land at No. 4 and Parkland at No. 12, reinforcing the region’s depth on the national stage.
