Region XXIV Maintains Strong National Presence in Latest NJCAA Rankings

Region XXIV continued to assert itself on the national stage this week as multiple men’s and women’s basketball programs earned recognition in the latest NJCAA polls.

Men’s Basketball

Vincennes remained among the nation’s elite, checking in at No. 3 in Division I men’s basketball and continuing to anchor the region at the top level.

Division II men’s basketball featured three Region XXIV programs in the Top 25. Parkland climbed to No. 4, while Danville Area followed at No. 15 and Illinois Central rounded out the rankings at No. 24, reinforcing the region’s depth and competitiveness.

Women’s Basketball

Southwestern Illinois continued its rise in Division I women’s basketball, moving up to No. 19 in this week’s poll.

Region XXIV once again stacked the Division II women’s rankings, led by Lincoln Land at No. 2, Parkland at No. 9, and Illinois Central at No. 10, showcasing the region’s strength across multiple programs.
