Region XXIV Continues National Momentum in Latest NJCAA Rankings

Region XXIV maintained its strong presence on the national stage this week as multiple men’s and women’s basketball programs earned recognition in the latest NJCAA polls.

Men’s Basketball

Vincennes held firm at No. 1 in Division I men’s basketball, continuing to set the national standard.

In Division II, Danville Area climbed to No. 6, while Parkland checked in at No. 11. Illinois Central and Rend Lake also earned Receiving Votes, giving Region XXIV four teams represented in the D2 men’s poll.

Women’s Basketball

Southwestern Illinois continued its strong run in Division I women’s basketball, remaining at No. 17 in this week’s rankings.

Division II women’s basketball featured three Region XXIV programs in the Top 10, led by Parkland at No. 5, followed by Illinois Central at No. 8 and Lincoln Land at No. 10, reinforcing the region’s depth across the national landscape.
