Another Week, More Rankings: Region XXIV Keeps Rolling
Region XXIV once again showed its depth across the national landscape as baseball, softball, and golf programs earned recognition in the latest NJCAA rankings.
Baseball
In Division I baseball, John A. Logan checked in at No. 13, continuing its strong national standing.
Division II baseball featured two Region XXIV programs in the Top 25, with Heartland at No. 13 and Parkland at No. 23, reinforcing the region’s competitiveness on the diamond.
Softball
Division I softball saw John A. Logan ranked No. 25, earning a spot in the national poll.
In Division II softball, Parkland led the way at No. 16, followed by Illinois Central at No. 19 and Danville Area at No. 22, giving the region three ranked teams.
Men’s Golf
Division I men’s golf included John A. Logan at No. 20 in the national rankings.
Division II men’s golf featured Heartland at No. 3, Illinois Central at No. 13, and Parkland at No. 25, while Vincennes also earned Receiving Votes recognition.
Women’s Golf
Division I women’s golf saw John A. Logan ranked No. 23, while Rend Lake checked in at No. 15 in the Division II poll, with Danville Area also earning Receiving Votes.
